Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean International was founded in 1968 by a group of Norwegian shipping companies to offer innovative cruise holidays. Its first ship, the Song of Norway, launched in 1970 and helped establish the company’s focus on warm-weather Caribbean destinations.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Royal Caribbean expanded its fleet and became known for larger, more advanced ships. In the 2000s, it introduced some of the world’s biggest cruise ships, including the Oasis of the Seas, featuring unique attractions like surf simulators and ice rinks.

Today, Royal Caribbean is one of the world’s leading cruise lines, known for innovation, large-scale ships, and activity-packed vacations.
